Importance Sorting: Prioritize NOTAMs by Operational Impact

We've introduced a new sorting option called Importance that prioritizes NOTAMs based on operational impact. Instead of sorting by date or category alone, Importance sorting helps surface notices that are more likely to matter during review.

What It Does

When you select "Importance" from the sort dropdown, Notamify promotes NOTAMs with stronger operational impact. Higher-impact closures, restrictions, service disruptions, and procedure changes are easier to find before lower-impact background notices.

What It Helps With

Importance sorting is intentionally built around operational consequences rather than raw publication time. It is useful when a busy airport has many active NOTAMs and the first question is not "what was published latest?" but "what should I look at first?"

Within the same importance level, NOTAMs are sorted by date (most recent first).

Powered by Operational Context

Importance sorting uses Notamify's operational context to present a more useful review order than raw text or Q-codes alone.

How to Use

1. Navigate to any airport's NOTAM list
2. Click the sort dropdown (default: "Most Recent")
3. Select "Importance"

NOTAMs will instantly reorder to show the most operationally critical notices at the top.
