Interpretation

BASH Phase II is in effect at KBAB from 1 September 2026 to 15 April 2027 due to increased bird activity. Aircrews must exercise extreme caution and limit transition training within one hour before or after official sunrise and sunset. Check KBAB ATIS or contact the supervisor of flying for the latest bird watch condition; assigned crews must follow 9 RW BASH Phase II guidance, and transient crews must consult the KBAB bird watch condition restrictions in AP1 FLIP.
