Interpretation

The ILS or LOC Runway 26L approach at George Bush Intercontinental/Houston is temporarily amended due to cranes west of the runway. S-ILS 26L DA is 315 feet MSL (HAT 220) for all categories; S-LOC 26L MDA is 520 feet MSL (HAT 425) for all categories, with RVR 4000 for Categories C, D, and E. The VDP is at 2.86 DME, 1.12 NM from the threshold. When the ALS is inoperative, Category E S-ILS visibility increases to RVR 4000 and Categories C, D, and E S-LOC visibility increases to 1 1/4 SM. These changes do not apply when ATC advises that the crane is down.
