Interpretation

For the U.S. DOD HI-TACAN Runway 14 Amendment 4C procedure at Jacksonville International, straight-in Runway 14 Categories C, D and E minimum descent altitude is 520 feet MSL, with height above touchdown zone 493 feet and visibility 1 statute mile. Category C circling minimum descent altitude is 640 feet MSL, with height above airport 610 feet and visibility 1 3/4 statute miles. When the approach lighting system is inoperative, straight-in visibility increases to 1 3/8 statute miles. The changes account for temporary cranes south of the airport.
