Interpretation

Amendment to the RNAV (GPS) runway 31 instrument approach at McNary Field (Salem, OR) revises minima and contingency procedures: LNAV visibility Cat A RVR 2400 and Cat B RVR 4000; when local altimeter setting is not received use McMinnville altimeter setting and increase LPV decision altitude to 459 ft, increase LNAV/VNAV DA to 936 ft and raise all visibilities by 1/8 SM; increase all MDAs by 60 ft and LNAV visibility for Cat C/D by 1/8 SM; circling visibility Cat A and Cat C to 1/4 SM; if approach lighting system (ALS) is inoperative and McMinnville altimeter is used, increase LNAV/VNAV visibility for all categories to 2 SM; alternate minima provided (Cat A/B 900-2; Cat C 900-2½; Cat D 1100-3).
