Interpretation

At LFPG, the ice-shedding procedure permits an aircraft run-up during taxi at up to 70% of maximum N1 in designated areas (see GMC 01, 02, 07 and 08), with De Gaulle Ground clearance. Flight crews should advise De Gaulle Delivery on initial contact of their intention to perform the procedure whenever possible. On the runway, crews may perform the procedure without a power restriction if they request it before lining up.
