Interpretation

Due to operational constraints caused by increased traffic at Athinai Eleftherios Venizelos AD, helicopter movements to and from Profarta (AIP Greece AD 3.19) and Mpota Profarta (AIP Greece AD 3.70) heliports are limited Monday to Sunday: from sunrise to 0530 maximum 5 movements per hour total for both heliports; 0531 to 1159, 2 movements permitted; 1200 to 1459, maximum 3 movements per hour total for both heliports, westbound only (Damari-Ag. Thomas-Stavros); and 1500 to sunset, maximum 3 movements per hour total for both heliports. ATC shall apply the start-up sequence in all cases, transponder testing is prohibited without prior ATC approval, and strict adherence to published routes is mandatory. Heliport operators are responsible for crew briefing, coordination between operators, and compliance with the filed flight plan. Medevac and hospital flights are excluded, and maintenance flights are subject to prior coordination with the tower.
