Interpretation

Helicopter movements to and from Profarta and Mpota Profarta heliports are restricted daily due to increased traffic at Athinai Eleftherios Venizelos aerodrome: from sunrise to 0530, a maximum of five movements per hour in total across both heliports; from 0531 to 1159, two movements are permitted; from 1200 to 1459, a maximum of three movements per hour in total across both heliports, westbound only via Damari–Ag. Thomas–Stavros; and from 1500 to sunset, a maximum of three movements per hour in total across both heliports. ATC will apply a start-up sequence in all cases. Transponder testing requires prior ATC approval, and strict adherence to published routes is mandatory. Heliport operators are responsible for crew briefings, coordination between operators, and compliance with filed flight plans. MEDEVAC and hospital flights are exempt; maintenance flights require prior coordination with the tower.
