Interpretation

Portorož ATZ/RMZ is established within the published boundary, from ground to 2,000 ft AMSL, as Class G airspace over Slovenian territory only. It is active during aerodrome administration hours when Portorož ATS (TWR/APP) is not operating. Before entry, pilots must confirm that ATS is not operating and the published ATZ/RMZ procedure applies, select 122.860 MHz, and establish two-way communication with Portorož Traffic at least five minutes before entry. Portorož Traffic provides an air-ground information service in English and Slovenian, but no ATS service or ATC clearances. Landing and take-off are not permitted outside aerodrome administration hours.
