Interpretation

During disruptions affecting the Jeddah FIR, ATC may assign contingency ATS route T455 for traffic from the Bahrain FIR to the Jeddah FIR via the Kuwait FIR, or T456 for traffic in the opposite direction via the Kuwait FIR. These routes may be used only when assigned by ATC; further rerouting depends on operational requirements and coordination with the relevant ATS units.
