Interpretation
Tehran FIR has resumed normal operations except the western part, which remains closed to overflights. The dividing line runs through IVIVA–PURBO–ANK–OBRIX, then clockwise along Tehran TMA to NAGMO and LALDA. In the eastern part: ATS surveillance will be provided above FL285 subject to radar coverage; inbound traffic must contact Tehran ACC 5 minutes prior to the FIR boundary for identification; outbound traffic must establish communication with the next ACC 5 minutes prior to the FIR boundary; flights must have operational ACAS; larger separation may be applied within Tehran FIR; flights must retain the last assigned SSR code, or squawk 2000 if no code assigned until further instruction by ACC.
