Interpretation

During disruptions affecting Jeddah FIR, traffic between Bahrain FIR and Jeddah FIR may be rerouted via Kuwait FIR under contingency measures. ATC may assign T455 for traffic from Bahrain FIR to Jeddah FIR via L934/L602 (as appropriate), DAVUS, GESAK, KFR and L550, or T456 for traffic from Jeddah FIR to Bahrain FIR via HFR, A788, SOROR, LONOS, L703 and GEPUT. These routes may be used only when assigned by ATC; further rerouting depends on operational requirements and coordination with relevant ATS units.
