Interpretation

Up to five pieces of heavy equipment penetrate the Runway 16R approach surface in two defined areas before the threshold. Operations are scheduled August 31–September 4, 7–11, 14–18, 24–25, and 28–29 from 1500 to 2000. Weather minima, instrument approach procedures, SIDs, and STARs remain unchanged. Aircraft specified in AIC 051/19 item 3 are exempt, as are emergency aircraft with permission requested at least one hour in advance.
