Interpretation

Correct the AIP Chile runway physical-characteristics entry for SCFA: replace the statement that runway 01/19 has no runway end safety areas (RESAs). The runway 01 north RESA is 210 m long and 100 m wide, comprising compacted base and asphalt; the runway 19 south RESA is 90 m long and 100 m wide, with central asphalt and compacted base on each side. This corrects AIP Chile Vol I, Amendment 67, pages AD 2 SCFA-6, sections 2.12 and 2.13, dated 27 November 2025.
