Interpretation

Ref AIP Peru SPCL AD 2.22. VFR procedures are available for night operations between sunset and sunrise. Only the west runway 02 circuit at 1500 ft is authorised, with a maximum distance of 3 NM. No VFR holding is permitted due to traffic, and ATC will accept only one aircraft at a time. Brief approach/circuit is not available due to an unsignalled obstacle. All aircraft must operate with navigation, anti-collision, landing and taxi lights. Aircraft must be IFR certified, the pilot instructor must hold a current IFR rating, solo flights are not permitted, and weather conditions must be visibility 9 km or above and cloud ceiling 2500 ft or above. The operator shall ensure no weather conditions reducing visibility, and an alternate aerodrome must be required in the flight plan.
