Interpretation

VFR night operations are available in SPHI ATZ only between sunset and sunrise, with ATC accepting only one aircraft at a time. Aircraft must operate with navigation, anti-collision, landing, and taxi lights, be IFR certified, and have a pilot instructor with a current IFR rating; solo flights are not permitted. Weather conditions require visibility 8 km or above and cloud ceiling 2000 ft or above, and an alternate aerodrome is required in the flight plan.
