Interpretation
For Runway 25 departures, maintain runway heading and a minimum procedure design gradient (PDG) of 3.3 percent from the departure end of runway to 1,000 feet. The procedure is valid only for straight takeoffs within 15 degrees. In reduced visibility, the operator must verify the gradient using takeoff and landing performance data (TOLD); PDG must not be confused with aircraft climb gradient. If RVR falls below minimums after takeoff, the crew will be notified and the pilot makes the final decision. ATS takeoff authorization is based on traffic and known obstacles, while compliance with minimum weather requirements remains the pilot's responsibility.
