Interpretation

Saint-Barthélemy AFIS has implemented an ATS surveillance service for aircraft operating within TF-R4 and aircraft in contact with AFIS while arriving at or departing the aerodrome. Surveillance information may be used to provide aircraft position information and, on pilot request, navigational assistance. Pilots remain responsible for collision avoidance and separation from other aircraft. Reference AIP CAR SAM NAM AD 2 TFFJ 22.1.
