Interpretation

The ILS and LOC procedures for runway 8 at Luis Munoz Marin International Airport have been amended to increase visibility requirements for various categories. The visibility for S-ILS 8 is increased to 3/4 SM for all categories, and for S-LOC 8, it is increased to 3/4 SM for CAT A/B and 1 1/8 SM for CAT C. In case of inoperative ALS, the visibility for S-ILS 8 is increased to 7/8 SM, S-LOC 8 CAT A/B to 1 SM, and CAT C/D to 1 5/8 SM. Helicopter operations on RWY 8 are not authorized below 3/4 SM visibility.
