Interpretation

Helipads are restricted to touchdown and lift-off area (TLOF) operations only; the final approach and take-off area (FATO) is withdrawn. Helicopters must land on the runway, conduct controlled ground movement, and make a short hover reposition to a designated TLOF. Simultaneous helicopter operations at the helipads are prohibited, as are simultaneous movements involving helipad helicopters and aircraft south or west of the helipads using taxilane D4, or aircraft south of the helipad. Maximum helicopter D-value is 12 m. Operations are daylight only, marshalling is required for helicopter movements, and all aircraft must exercise caution due to uneven helipad surfaces.
