Interpretation

High intensity approach lighting system (ALS) is available for runway 30 with a length of 900 meters and cross bars at distances of 150m, 300m, 450m, 600m, and 750m from the runway threshold. High intensity S-ALS is also available for runway 12 with a length of 420 meters and cross bars consisting of 11 light fittings at a distance of 300m from the runway threshold. The AIP India 6th edition, VABP AD 2.14, is amended accordingly.
