Interpretation

Installation of new four-lamp frangible PAPIs with dual interleaved circuits is in progress for both directions of runway 09/27, approximately 361 metres from each runway threshold and 15 metres from the runway edge. Existing PAPIs remain available and primary for operations. Work is limited to scheduled runway closures, and the new PAPIs will remain switched off during operations to prevent simultaneous visual displays and avoid operational impact. Pilots should exercise caution.
