Interpretation

New movement-area signage is installed under test at Tribhuvan International Airport. Taxiway designations have changed from numeric 1–5 to alphabetic A–E. Additional new signage identifiers are introduced for domestic apron (H), helicopter apron (J), link taxiway (G), and parallel taxiway (F). Available runway length from each taxiway intersection is now displayed. VOR aerodrome checkpoint signs showing VOR frequency, bearing, and DME distance are available at taxiway holding points A and E.
