Interpretation

Bird flocks and seasonal north-to-south migration occur around the aerodrome and adjacent airspace throughout the day, with relatively high migration from 0930 to 2300 at 300–4,500 m. Bird strikes are more likely 10–35 km from runway thresholds at 600–1,800 m. Sporadic bird activity occurs from 2200 to 1030 the next day at 0–100 m, including birds at 60–200 m before landing on runways 02R/20L/03/21/01L/19R, and from 1030 to 2200 at 0–200 m. Aircraft are advised to use continuous descent and climb operations and exercise caution during landing and takeoff; the aerodrome authority uses bird dispersal methods.
