Interpretation

Due to system capacity, prior permission requirements under CAR 602.96(3) will be strictly enforced for all non-scheduled aircraft arriving at Vancouver Intl Airport (CYVR). The assigned slot identifier shall be entered in item 18 of the ICAO flight plan using the RMK field, without special characters. Non-scheduled aircraft without approved PPR or a confirmed slot time can anticipate diversion, and except in an emergency, inflight rerouting requests will not be accepted during this period.
