Interpretation

At Eindhoven Airport, Mode S equipped aircraft with ADS-B functionalities must follow specific ground procedures for ADS-B data reporting: select AUTO mode and the assigned Mode A code, or if AUTO mode is not available, select ON and the assigned Mode A code from the request for tower push-back or taxi, whichever is earlier, until fully parked; when fully parked, select STBY. When capable, aircraft identification should be entered at the request for towed push-back or taxi, whichever is earlier, using ICAO-defined format. To avoid compromising SSR-based systems, including airborne TCAS and SSR radars, TCAS should not be selected before receiving clearance to line up and should be deselected after vacating the runway.

LANDING,CONTINUOUSLY UNTIL THE ACFT IS FULLY PARKED IN ITS STAND.
-WHEN THE ACFT IS FULLY PARKED, FLT CREW SHALL SELECT STBY.
1.1.2.WHENEVER THE ACFT IS CAPABLE OF REPORTING ACFT IDENTIFICATION
(I.E.CALLSIGN USED IN FLT), THIS SHOULD BE ENTERED (THROUGH THE FMS
OR THE TRANSPONDER CONTROL PANEL) AT THE TIME OF THE REQUEST FOR
TOWED PUSH-BACK OR TAXI, WHICHEVER IS EARLIER. 1.1.3.AIR CREW MUST
USE THE ICAO DEFINED FORMAT TO ENTER THE ACFT IDENTIFICATION.
1.1.4.TO ENSURE THAT THE PERFORMANCE OF SYSTEMS BASED ON SSR FREQ
(INCLUDING AIRBORNE TCAS AND SSR RADARS) IS NOT COMPROMISED, TCAS
SHOULD NOT BE SELECTED BEFORE RECEIVING CLEARANCE TO LINE UP, AND
SHOULD BE DESELECTED AFTER VACATING THE RWY.
