Interpretation

During very heavy snowfall, fog, or direct sunlight, the docking guidance system (DGS) may not operate correctly. If the DGS does not begin the distance countdown 15 m before the stop position, pilots must stop immediately and request marshalling assistance. Refer to AIP AD 2.20, item 7.
