Interpretation

For the Hartsfield/Jackson Atlanta International RNAV (RNP) Z runway 8L approach, Amendment 1A, the RNP 0.30 decision altitude is 1,516 ft MSL (HAT 501 ft) for all categories, with RVR 5,500. Change the note to state that when the approach lighting system (ALS) is inoperative, increase RNP 0.15 visibility for all categories to RVR 5,500 and RNP 0.30 visibility for all categories to 1 3/8 SM. These changes are due to a temporary crane at 1,305 ft MSL, 4,393 ft southwest of runway 8L. Effective July 7, 2025 at 1106 UTC until January 15, 2027 at 1106 UTC estimated.
