Interpretation

Frequency 121.600 MHz is available H24 for direct communication between aircraft and the Rescue Fire Fighting (RFF) service, but only when the RFF service is attending an aircraft on the ground in an emergency; it must be requested via ATC, the RFF call sign is “PAFOS RESCUE,” and aircraft and RFF must maintain contact with ATC at all times. This is a non-ATS frequency.
