Interpretation

Radio failure procedure for airplane pilots: select transponder code A7600, continue under visual flight rules, land at the nearest appropriate airport, and report arrival to the competent air traffic control authority as quickly as possible. For arrival, if crossing runway axes is required, cross perpendicular to the tower at 2,500 ft QNH. In transit, avoid entering the Nice CTR due to heavy traffic.
