Interpretation
Visual departure procedures from RWY 21L and RWY 21R at LGAV are authorized only for turboprop aircraft, subject to ATC approval, and must follow specific conditions: depart inbound to KEA and BIBEX; make a left turn as soon as possible up to 1500 ft AMSL while remaining well clear of all significant obstacles charted on published SIDs; initial climb up to 4000 ft AMSL; initial roll-out heading after the turn between 090–120 degrees; expect further climb and routing instructions from ATC; in case of radio communication failure, proceed to KEA, climb to 6000 ft AMSL, and execute an appropriate instrument approach procedure. All published noise abatement procedures and speed limits in AIP Greece AD 2 LGAV-20 paragraph 2.21 remain applicable.
