Summer seasonal training-flight restrictions apply in LGTS and the Makedonia TMA: touch-and-go operations at Thessaloniki Airport and night VFR operations are prohibited; ATC may permit IFR low approaches on the runway in use; only one IFR training flight at a time may conduct STAR, IAP, or SID procedures within the TMA, subject to ATC approval requested three hours in advance and no adverse effect on ATC capacity; VFR overflights affecting the Makedonia TMA lateral limits require prior notice and are limited to two flights at a time. REGULATIONS REGARDING TRAINING FLIGHTS ARE ISSUED AS FLW:
1. TOUCH AND GO ARE NOT ALLOWED AT THESSALONIKI AIRPORT.
2. IFR LOW APPROACHES ON RWY IN USE MAY BE ALLOWED BY ATC.
3. ONLY ONE (1) IFR TRAINING FLIGHT AT A TIME, EXECUTING INSTRUMENT
APPROACH PROCEDURES (STAR/IAP/SID) WITHIN TMA, MAY BE ALLOWED,
PROVIDING THREE (3) HOURS PRIOR APPROVAL BY ATC AND NO IMPACT ON ATC
CAPACITY.
4. NIGHT VFR OPERATIONS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
5. VFR OVERFLIGHTS MAY AFFECT THE LATERAL LIMITS OF MAKEDONIA TMA,
ONLY WITH PRIOR NOTICE AND NOT MORE THAN TWO (2) FLIGHTS AT A TIME.
6. LOCAL CIRCUIT FLIGHTS AT AIRFIELDS ARE EXCLUDED FORM THE ABOVE
RESTRICTIONS.
7. OPERATIONAL/MILITARY/STATE AIRCRAFT ARE EXCLUDED FROM THE ABOVE
RESTRICTIONS.
