Interpretation

Bird concentrations affect all runways and approach surfaces from the surface to 3,000 ft, with density level 5. Concentrations are greatest within 200 m of runway beginnings and approach surfaces, dense from 200–400 m on approach surfaces, and lower from 400–1,000 m. Groups may include seagulls, storks, hawks, kestrels, swallows, swifts, pigeons, jackdaws, and starlings; seagulls are especially likely around sunrise and sunset, while storks move west-northwest to east-southeast.
