Interpretation

IFR takeoff minimums and the omnidirectional departure procedure for Runway 17L are changed. Cross the DER at or above 16 feet AGL/1,661 feet MSL and maintain a minimum climb gradient of 3.7% (225 feet per NM) to 2,200 feet. For the sector from 110° clockwise to 060°, climb on heading 173° to 2,200 feet, then proceed on course; the sector from 060° clockwise to 110° is not authorized. Revised obstacle notes identify terrain near and beyond the DER.
