Interpretation

Due to operational restrictions within Kuwait FIR (OKAC), the FIR is available only for flights arriving to or departing within Kuwait FIR subject to prior approval from Kuwait DGCA Air Transport Department. Overflight operations through Kuwait FIR are not permitted. Departing traffic from OKKK must use the specified routings as appropriate to destination, and arriving traffic to OKKK must use the specified entry routes. Operators shall carry sufficient fuel to accommodate possible delays or diversion requirements due to tactical reasons.
