Interpretation

Kuwait FIR is available only for Kuwaiti registered aircraft, general aviation, and cargo flights with prior approval for departures and arrivals only. The Kuwait FIR is not available for overflight traffic. Departures from OKKK shall use NIDAP L550, DEKOB P517, and KATOD G667 as exit points subject to destination. Departures from OKKK destined to airports within the OBBB, OTDF, and OMAE FIRs, or overflying the OBBB, OTDF, and OMAE FIRs for destinations outside those FIRs, shall use airway B416 IMDOX then P975 LONOS. Arrivals to OKKK shall use SOROR A788, KUNRU P891, and KUMBO A453 as entry points. Flights shall carry sufficient fuel to accommodate any potential delay or diversion due to tactical reasons.
