Interpretation

BASH Phase II is in effect because of increased bird activity near the aerodrome, particularly around the approach ends of runways 34R and 34L. The Phase II windows run from one hour before to three hours after sunrise and from one hour before to one hour after sunset. During these windows, US missions may not conduct multiple IFR/VFR training patterns without specific approval from 379 AEW/CD. Pilots arriving at or departing from runways 34R and 34L are advised to exercise increased vigilance.
