Interpretation

All VFR aircraft are requested to avoid four defined airspace areas near Naha, Miyakojima, Ishigakijima, and Yonagunijima because anti-ballistic missiles may be launched to destroy a rocket-propelled object launched from North Korea. Government agency aircraft, doctor helicopters, and aircraft with prior coordination with the Japan Self-Defense Force are exempt. VFR aircraft operating within the areas, excluding each control zone and information zone, are requested to contact RODE RICK on 123.1 MHz or 138.05 MHz.
