Interpretation

A trial procedure allowing simultaneous pushback and engine start is in effect. Aircraft up to code C may start engines at idle power during pushback. Simultaneous pushback and start may be permitted for aircraft on stands separated by at least one stand. Airlines must ensure required clearances from adjacent/rear stands, equipment, and personnel. Priority will be given to aircraft able to push back and start simultaneously.
