Interpretation

Bird flocks and north-to-south migration are expected around the aerodrome terminal area, near airways AA242, AA241 and AA122 and during the approach phases for runways 01/19, 36L/18R and 36R/18L. Approximately 1–200 birds may operate from ground level to 3,000 metres, with peak activity daily from 1200–1700 and 2030–2330. The aerodrome authority is using dispersal methods; exercise caution during landing and takeoff due to increased bird-strike risk.
