Interpretation

Due to system capacity, prior permission required (PPR) requirements in accordance with CAR 602.96(3) will be strictly enforced for all non-scheduled aircraft arriving at Toronto/Lester B. Pearson Intl Airport (CYYZ). The assigned slot identifier shall be entered in item 18 of the ICAO flight plan using the RMK/ field, with no special characters in the RMK/ field. Non-scheduled aircraft without approved PPR or a confirmed slot time can anticipate diversion, and except in an emergency, in-flight rerouting requests will not be accepted over this period.
