Interpretation

The Standard Instrument Departure (SID) for RWY 26R at EDDM has been changed to improve coverage of WLD DVOR/DME. The new procedure GIVMI 1N now requires pilots to amend their heading to 299 degrees to intercept R119 WLD, and while on R119 WLD, they should maintain a track of 299 degrees. A climb gradient of 4.9% (300 ft/NM) is required until passing 3700 ft, after which BRNAV equipment becomes necessary.
