Interpretation

Copenhagen Airport has fully adopted the advanced network integrated (ANI) airport concept, along with collaborative decision making (A-CDM), to enhance data exchange with the Network Manager Operations Center (NMOC). This allows for improved predictions of landing and departure times, as well as better slot allocation and air traffic flow management.

AN ANI AIRPORT IS AN AIRPORT THAT HAS FULLY ADOPTED THE
AIRPORT-CDM CONCEPT BY PROVIDING THE FULL SET OF DPI MESSAGES
(DEPARTURE PLANNING INFORMATION - P-DPI, E-DPI, T-DPI-T, T-DPI-S,
A-DPI AND C-DPI) AND THAT ALSO PROVIDES API MESSAGES (ARRIVAL
PLANNING INFORMATION) TO NMOC.
A PERMANENT AND FULLY AUTOMATIC DATA EXCHANGE WITH THE NETWORK
MANAGER OPERATIONS CENTER (NMOC) IS ESTABLISHED TO SHARE THESE DPI
AND API MESSAGES.
THIS DATA TRANSFER WILL ENABLE HIGHLY ACCURATE EARLY PREDICTIONS
OF LANDING AND DEPARTURE TIMES, ALLOWING THUS A MORE ACCURATE AND
EFFICIENT CALCULATION OF SLOT ALLOCATION. THE BASIC NMOC
PROCEDURES CONTINUE TO APPLY BUT NMOC WILL TAKE THE LOCAL TTOT
INTO CONSIDERATION FOR CTOT CALCULATION AND WILL TRY TO ADJUST IT
ACCORDINGLY.
IN SEQUENCED/NOMINAL MODE, UPDATING THE TOBT AND THEREFORE EOBT
ACCORDING TO TOBT IS ENTIRELY BENEFICIAL FOR AIRLINES WHICH
BENEFIT FROM A MORE OPTIMISED CALCULATION OF THE CTOT.
DPI AND API MESSAGES INCLUDE TOBT, TSAT, TTOT AS WELL AS
INFORMATION ON THE ARRIVAL OR DEPARTURE FLIGHTS AND AIRPORT
RESOURCES. 
WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF P-DPI AND G-API MESSAGES EXCHANGED WITH
NM SYSTEMS, THOSE MESSAGES MAY IMPACT THE ATFM NETWORK EARLIER
THAN THE START OF A-CDM (EOBT-3H) AND UP TO 48 HOURS BEFORE EOBT,
AND THESE DATA MAY BE USED FOR AIR TRAFFIC FLOW MANAGEMENT (ATFM)
PURPOSES.
