Interpretation

Pilots are warned of a risk of runway confusion due to the proximity and relative orientation of runways; crews must exercise increased vigilance during final approach and line-up. For day and night visual approach procedures (VPT A, VPT B, VPT D, VISUAL APP), the use of runway threshold lights, runway threshold identification lights (flashing), and PAPI systems is mandatory.
