Interpretation
AIP AD 2.1 / AD 2.23 adds information-broadcast requirements: the ATS unit shall inform aircraft crew as soon as possible about changes in runway surface condition; RVR changes when it attains or becomes less (or more) than 800 m, 600 m, 550 m, 350 m or 150 m at least at one of touchdown zone, mid or end (and shall transmit RVR in that same sequence); changes of broken or overcast ceiling (vertical visibility) when values attain or become less (or more) than 300 m, 150 m, 60 m or 30 m; unfavorable weather conditions; and changes of wind direction and speed at ground level, including wind gusts.
