Interpretation

Airport visual approach operations at ZGSZ are on trial. When weather permits, ATIS will announce available approach methods. Visual approaches may be pilot-applied or ATC-initiated with mutual consent. During simultaneous parallel runway operations, visual approach is only applicable to runway 16/34; in other runway modes it may be used on runways 15/33 and 16/34. Short final visual approach is permitted only on runway 34. ATC may issue visual approach after the pilot reports the airport or preceding aircraft in sight, and pilots must maintain continuous visual contact and advise ATC if unable.
