Definitions for product terms used in the Notamify manual and interface.
| Term | Definition |

| Affected element | The specific infrastructure or service extracted from a NOTAM: runway, taxiway, navaid, aerodrome, fuel, lighting, etc. Used to filter by operational consequence. See Atomic Elements. |
| All active | A time mode that shows every currently active NOTAM, regardless of a planned time window. |
| Bulk view | A dashboard view that combines all active NOTAMs across tracked locations into a single stream. |
| Card view | A dashboard view with airport-by-airport grouping and visual separation. |
| Category | One of 42 predefined NOTAM classifications covering domains like aerodrome, airspace, navigation, communication, and operations. |
| Dashboard | A saved monitoring workspace containing locations, time settings, and filters. |
| Effect | The operational state extracted from a NOTAM for an affected element: closed, unserviceable, restricted, work in progress, or caution. |
| FIR | Flight Information Region. Can be monitored alongside airports in a dashboard. |
| Global settings | The baseline time mode and filters applied to the entire dashboard. |
| Lifecycle notification | A follow-up alert email sent when a previously matched NOTAM is cancelled or replaced. |
| List view | A denser dashboard view for scanning more information with less visual structure. |
| Operating System | The dashboard monitoring layer for continuous multi-airport NOTAM monitoring. |
| Override | An airport-specific setting that replaces the global baseline for one location in a dashboard. |
| Team alert | An alert with team-level visibility, accessible to all members of the team. |
| Team dashboard | A dashboard shared with team members, as opposed to a private owner-only dashboard. |
